PICKLIVE: GAME RULES
THE GAME
Picklive is an online real time fantasy football game. Users select three (3) players from a live football match broadcast live on television. They are awarded points according to the relative performance of those players versus those selected by rival users. Users can substitute players in real time as the match unfolds in order to try to maximize their point totals. The winner is the user who has accumulated the most points over the course of the game. Users can choose the length of the games they play from 5 minutes and then upwards in increments of 5 minutes to the full 90 minutes of the football match.
CHOOSING YOUR PLAYERS
Team rosters are listings of players for a particular football match. Picklive permits you to choose three players from either team as shown on that Team roster. Team rosters are subject to change, often at very short notice. Picklive will seek to update team rosters as these changes become available, but does not guarantee that a particular player will actually take part in a particular football match. It is your responsibility to keep abreast of roster changes, and adjust your choice of players accordingly.
CHANGING PLAYER CHOICES
Picklive allows you to change your player choices up until and during the time of your Picklive game. During a Picklive game you are entitled to make no more than 3 substitutions.
SCORING FOR PICKLIVE
Points are awarded to each user’s players for successfully completing a range of actions, or points may be deducted where a user’s player scores an own goal, for example. The winner of each Picklive game will be the user whose players have accumulated the largest number of points during that particular Picklive game. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE SCORING SYSTEM IS PRESENTLY UNDER REVIEW AND MAY BE CHANGED AT ANY TIME SO YOU ARE ADVISED TO CHECK THE SCORING SYSTEM ON A REGULAR BASIS TO KEEP ABREAST OF ANY CHANGES.
RESULTS AND WINNERS DETERMINATION POLICY
Picklive results will be based solely on the data provided by its data tracking system which tracks match events and player performance. Picklive will seek to ensure that all results of Picklive games are as accurate and correct as possible but the results are dependent upon the veracity and accuracy of the information provided by the data tracking system, which is subject to human error and are may not be 100% accurate. Picklive Winners are determined according to the total points accumulated by each Picklive’ participants players’ scores. Participants are ranked from highest to lowest by their score. The winner is the user who has accumulated the most points over the course of the game.
Picklive will be the sole decision-maker of any matter of interpretation of the Game Rules and any aspect of the content of, or playing of, the Game. Picklive will not enter into correspondence relating to such matters and its decision as to any matter arising out of or in connection with the Game Rules including but not limited to the allocation of points to any shall be final and conclusive.
MATCH CANCELLATION/ DELAY POLICY
Football matches are subject to cancellation or delay for a variety of reasons outside of Picklive’ control. If a cancellation or delay of a football match occurs, Picklive has no obligation to notify you of such cancellation or delay. Picklive may cancel a Picklive game at any time and for any reason even if the match takes place and it has no obligation to notify you of any such cancellation.
HOW TO PLAY
If you wish to play Picklive, you will need to sign up with Picklive by providing a username, password and email address. You may only participate at Picklive if you are 18 years of age or older.
FORGOTTEN PASSWORD
If you have forgotten your password you can go onto the Picklive Website and click on the link “Forgot Password?”. Your password will then be emailed to your registered email address.
